Abstracts 

The Organising Committee of the Australasian College of Phlebology Annual Scientific Meeting invites clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals working across venous and lymphatic medicine to contribute to the scientific program.

Abstract submissions open 7 September 2026

We welcome submissions of original research, case presentations and clinical innovations across all areas of venous and lymphatic medicine, including, but not limited to:
Chronic venous insufficiency
Deep vein thrombosis and thromboembolism
Varicose veins and venous ulcer management
Sclerotherapy and endovenous interventions
Lymphatic disorders
Lipoedema
Imaging in venous disease
Venous anatomy and physiology
Emerging technologies and innovations in venous care


Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
Submissions may be made for evidence-based research or case presentations.
Accepted abstracts may be selected for either an oral or poster presentation.
Abstracts must follow the required format outlined below.
Selected abstracts will be published in the official conference app.

We encourage submissions from both established professionals and early-career clinicians and researchers. ACP2027 provides an opportunity to share your work, contribute to scientific discussion and connect with colleagues working across the field of phlebology.

Research abstracts must include the following headings:
- Introduction

- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions

Case presentations must include the following headings:
- Introduction

- Case Details
- Conclusions


Important Information
Abstracts may be accepted for either an oral presentation or poster presentation, at the discretion of the Organising Committee. Submissions that do not follow the required format may not be reviewed or may need to be re-submitted. Abstracts must be submitted through the designated submission process and will not be accepted by email. Following the official closing date, late submissions will only be considered by prior arrangement with the Organising Committee.
