ACP CPD Website

2022 has been an extremely busy year for the Australasian College of Phlebology and our CPD Training Program.   The ACP Conference in Sydney was a great success and we pleased with the outstanding level of education provided by our speakers.  We are nearing the end of the 2020-2022 Triennium and we encourage our Fellows to enter their data into the new portal.  I would also remind our Fellows that it is a mandatory AHPRA requirement to maintain and record CPD training within the relevant medical field.

The most important take away points are as follows:

  1. We have made improvements to our CPD Program
  2. We have reinstituted a new and improved CPD Portal which you can access via the Members Portal.
  3. The ACP has made an application to MSAC to become a CPD Home. This will benefit our members moving forward, who would prefer to keep their CPD training documentation with the College of Phlebology.  We will keep the membership base informed of any progress with our application.

With regards to the updated CPD Program, you will have noticed that we now have 3 revised Categories of CPD Training.

  1. Clinical & Education : Maintenance of clinical knowledge, skills/research, learning & teaching
  2. Quality Assurance : Quality Improvement and Risk Mitigation (QA)
  3. Professionalism : Cultural Awareness, Ethics and Advocacy

Please read through these sections and the list of accredited activities.  The ACP welcomes any feedback on the CPD Program and Online Portal.
