The 20th ISSVA International Workshop, Melbourne, Australia - 2nd to 4th April 2014

We warmly invite you to attend the 20th International Workshop on Vascular Anomalies to be held in Melbourne, Australia from the 1st to the 4th of April, 2014. The meeting will be held at the Sofitel hotel on Collins Street, in the heart of Melbourne.

 

Abstract submission is now open for the 20th International Workshop of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies. The meeting covers all aspects of the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of haemangiomas, vascular malformations and related disorders.

 

This biannual meeting which is attended by a wide array of specialists including interventional radiologists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, oncologists and pathologists, presents the latest developments in this fast moving area.

 

Our confirmed guest speaker is Professor S Paul Oh,

Professor, Department of Physiology, College of Medicine, University of Florida, USA

 

A one-day satellite meeting on the pathology of vascular lesions will be held at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne on Monday 31st March 2014,

with international expert Professor Paula North.

 

For those new to the management of vascular anomalies, a half day primer course on Management of Vascular Anomalies will be held on Tuesday 1st April.

 

For the first time the ODILE ENJOLRAS ISSVA TRAVEL AWARD for promising junior investigators is available.

This award is intended for applicants who have demonstrated interest in propagating knowledge and treatment in the field of Vascular Anomalies in underserved areas.
