Phlebology Foundation Fundraising

Progress Report No. 1

I wish to thank the 9 generous donors who, in the first month of the fundraising campaign to fund the illustrations for the nearly completed Textbook on Venous Diseases, edited by Prof Ken Myers have contributed $12, 220 to the project. That is an average of $1360 per donor. We are now nearly half- way to our committed aim of raising $30,000 for the cost of the illustrations. These unique, quality illustrations will help create an exceptional textbook of Phlebology knowledge.

However, we need to press ahead with this project as the deadline for completion is 31st March. I therefore once again ask that all remaining members consider contributing to this worthwhile cause for progressing the field of Phlebology in Australia and New Zealand. Remember, every little bit counts and the donation is 100% tax deductible.

To make a donation payments may be made by credit card or direct debit on the Foundation website www.phlebologyfoundation.com. Donors who contribute $1000 or more will receive a complimentary copy of the book, and will be acknowledged at the next conferring ceremony of the ACP.
